Registered Cosmetologists (RC), Nail Technicians (NT), Estheticians (ES) need a total of FOUR CE hours in Safety & Sanitation every two years. You can get this 4 hours either online OR in-person. You need to complete your hours in a LLR/State Board approved course.
Instructors also need FOUR CE hours every two years. This 4 hours of CE must relate to teaching methods. You can get this 4 hours either online OR in-person. You need to complete your hours in a LLR/State Board approved course.
If you have not successfully renewed your 2021 licensed (lapsed) you are required to renew that license under the previous regulations of 12 hour every two years. After your 2021 renewal/reinstatement is completed successfully then the NEW rules will apply for 2023 and so on.
